What is Capture the Love?
Capture the Love is Happy Folks Studio’s portrait marathon event held seasonally. During this one day event, we usually have eight (8) scheduled slots up for grabs. Your session includes a 1 hour portrait shoot with 20 edited photos which you will receive via dropbox at the end of the day. Book your slot as early as possible so that you can get the time slot of your choice. For certain occasions, packages may vary.
When do you usually hold Capture the Love events? How early do you announce the next one?
We hold a number of Capture the Love sessions through out the year. Usually we will have one around holidays, like: Christmas (Nov/Dec), Valentines/Graduation (Feb/Mar), Halloween (Oct). No dates are exact, however, and we usually announce the next session at least a month in advance.
I’m game! How do I book a slot?
To book a slot, we will need at least a 50% downpayment deposited to our account. Bank details can be requested through email. Your balance may be paid on or before your session by cash or check.
Where is Graey Studio? Is there parking nearby?
Graey Studio is located in Unit 513 First United Building, Escolta Street, Manila. (waze: “Graey Studio” or “First United Building”). Street parking is available. There is also a parking lot right beside BDO before you reach the building. Please secure your cars and belongings as we are not liable for any loss or damages to your property.
What set and props will be available?
You will normally have 2 layouts/sets available for your portrait. One themed layout, depending on the occasion and another classic minimalist layout. A moodboard is available if you’d like to see what we’re planning for the up coming session. Set ups and layouts vary per event.
Are outfits included? How about hair and make up?
You will need to come in already prepared and made up for your session.
How many outfits should I prepare? Can we wear any color?
Prepare about 2 outfits choices. We do have a changing room for you in the studio. We include outfit inspirations in our moodboard, but you are free to wear what you want. Choose something that’s very you of course!
How many people can join in the session?
A maximum of 6 persons (including children 1yo and up) can join the session. Infants (less than 12 months) are not counted and can join in for free! Additional persons can join for 500 pesos/head with a maximum total of 8 persons.
Can I include our family dog?
Yes, of course! Dogs are family too! However, please ensure that you clean up after them and that they have a non-aggressive temperament.
How early do I need to be in the studio?
We recommend that you come in at least 15 minutes before your timeslot, so that you can settle in before we start.
How and when will I get my photos?
You will receive all your photos through dropbox.com. Your edited photos (20 shots) will be uploaded to your respective folder and emailed to you by the end of the day. You will receive the link to the rest of your raw shots within 5 working days.
